The Ministry of Works and Transport, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State under the watch of Engr. Nweze Fidelis Kings (MNSE, FNATE), THE Honourable Commissioner has found it imperative to draw the attention of the general public to the unfortunate development where fraudsters have resorted to parading themselves as officers or agents of Ebonyi State Ministry of Works and Transport and Engr. Nweze Fidelis Kings, the Commissioner under this guise they go about defrauding the public especially contractors whom they deceive to believe that they can secure or provide contracts for them.
Our findings have revealed that these hoodlums have various fake documents which they use to substantiate their fraudulent claims.
In view of the foregoing, Ebonyi State Ministry of Works and Transport and Engr. Nweze Fidelis Kings, Honourable Commissioner on behalf of the State Government wishes to inform the general public that we have remained consistent on our usual method of disseminating information about contracts which has been strictly through media publication on both national and local media.
We do not have, neither do we intend to have officers or agents as canvassers in any of our affairs with the public.
However, Government and security agents are doing everything necessary to curb these nefarious activities of the miscreants.
Those who indulge in this dastardly act advised in the interest of peace to henceforth retrace their steps.

The law enforcement agents are already working hard to fish out the perpetrators of this dastard act and we also request any one with useful information that can lead to their arrest to contact the office of the Hon. Commissioner for Works and Transport, Ebonyi State, or the nearest Police Station.
